Stand Up

After training for a long time, and scouring for suitable pokemon to add to my team since beating the third gym leader several events happened.

Tlalcihutl evolved into krokorok, Quetzlcotl evolved into serperior, Xipe-Totec evolved into stoutland, I caught a dwebble, I reanimated a Tirtouga from a fossil and named it Chiuhtlicu, beat Elesa, the fourth gym leader, but lost dwebble in the process. he took very little damage from an aerial ace that I thought he’d survive the next attack but apparently the volt switch that came after did more damage than he could handle. It was very sad, but I always knew that his would be the easiest sacrifice. In the process of adding dwebble, and then Chiuhtlicu (named for the goddess of water, lakes, rivers, streams, horizontal waters, storms, and baptism) I had to retire someone, and seeing as Fluffee never even saw battle, I made the hard decision to put her down.

Now I’m in driftveil and intend to level my team to mid 40’s before progressing. I really am not willing to lose any more teammates, this is a really diverse and strong team, considering the options.

Really not much has happened again. I grinded a little, I beat one team plasma member, I beat Burgh (Meztli swept him), then I beat Cheren and Bianca on the way to route 4. Not very eventful. Then again this isn’t a very eventful part of the game…

Not much new to report today. Woobat evolved! And with that she earned a nickname (also I happened to be in Castelia where the name rater is so I updated my nicknames.)

Swoobat is now called Meztli after the goddess of the moon and sandile is Tlalcihutl (the real name, Tlalcihuatl was one character too long) after the goddess of the earth. It is interesting to not that the only male on my team is Xipe-Totec.

Accomplishments for the day include beating the battle company (not hard).

Literally that’s it. It helped level my team a little, but I think I’m gonna just go back and grind Audino til I reach the level cap again. The team is getting stronger and stronger but I still need something that can ice beam/surf like a boss.
